These courses are designed for talented amateurs. All of these are paid for by those attending.- A few masterclasses, even one with the great man do not constitute "a formal opera training" by any stretch of the imagination.- Professional opera singers earn their living by treading the boards night after night week-in week-out, year after year with professional opera companies.- Paul, has never earned a single penny from opera performance, other than winning a tv talent show in 1999 - the winnings funding masterclasses.- Paul has not performed since 2003.- He is not a professional opera singer pretending to be a mobile phone sales man, but rather he is a mobile phone salesman aspiring to be an opera singer.- An operatic voice IS a trained voice.Hmmmm, perhaps if I can buy a few classes at a pro cookery school, I can pass myself off as a highly experienced pro chef.....hmmmmm......

Puccini is a genius, but if I sang this I would destroy his great reputation because I would make it sound like nowt on earth. The voice has to be right.Paul sings it beautiful.

Just how many CDs has Paul sold, for someone who was still amatuer when recording and still employed at day job, it is an achievment.On 'Love Story' Paul throws his voice like a pro. If he takes time out to study opera like others do, he must surely do an opera, he is better than many of lead singers in top operas.I do like this man, not got his nose up his arse like some of the opera snobs have.Wonder what they would say at the Met. if he came in wearing that suit like here, different.

Well, would you like to all hear my list of world class classical singers CD collection. Paul Potts - Jonathan Ansall - Bocelli - Pavarotti(3) - Alfie Boe - Russell Watson - Mario Lanza - Domingo - and many more, would you like to know who I prefer best, well I am going to tell you, PAUL POTTS. I find his voice theraputic influence.Remark was meant for the person who posted that mean attack on Paul.

Amazing! 38,054,896 views!!!! It is hard to believe that over a year ago no one had heard of Paul Potts and his amazing voice. He has released a record selling album, "One Chance", finished a huge world tour, and, through voice training, only further developed his voice. That remark is one, was meant Paul Potts is one, moving on towards the greats, and there are many world class opera singers, but Paul is one that is very popular.
