No, It freezes. The solution is one of the most stable in science, its freezing point is around 47 degrees celcius. However, due to the stability of the solution, it can reach far below its normal freezing point when left undisturbed, kept in clean, smooth containers, etc. as there is no energy to create a reaction. Once a small amount of energy is introduced(Such as a touch) an exothermic reaction is created, which causes the solution to freeze, and return to its normal freezing point.
