This brings back memories. Althought i havent seen this at disneyland, they used to have something similar at Dreamworld on the Goldcoast of Australia. Sad that got rid of that as well

I'm GLAD they haven't changed the songs. Some of the best songs have been lost or forgotten because they haven't bben sung in so long. I hope we never lose our precious music heritages. YouTUBE does such a great service by letting folk post memories and experiences like this HOPEFULLY forever for folks to get a heritage of where we've been musically. RAGE ON COUNTRY BEARS!!! RAGE against the dying of the song!! LOL

Big Al's "Thar was - bl-ood on the saddle" and his out-of-tune guitar always crack me up!

LOL, this is the 'original' show. The original show ran at DL from 1972-1986. From 1986-2001, DL ran the Vacation Hoedown version of the show. This is the one with the bears on vacation and going camping. From 1984-2001, the Christmas show would run during the holidays.

I have been to this attraction several times as a kid up until they removed it from Disneyland, Anaheim. I don't recall ever seeing this version though, did it change? What happened to the Johnny Cash "Ghost Riders on the Storm" song and the summer vacation slide show, etc...??

I think the animatronics figures are modern. The old ones were numatic, and these are hydraulic A100 figures. The sound track is exactly the same. |
